Chi Chapter President Emeritus

David Crouch serves as the First Vice President of the Baltimore Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi and President Emeritus and Chief Knowledge Officer of the Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi.  David served as president of Chi Chapter for five years, from 2002 through 2007. 

Education
David graduated from Goucher College with BA degrees in Russian and International Relations.  Additionally, David earned an MBA (certificate and concentration in nonprofit management) from the Johns Hopkins University School of Professional Studies in Business and Education in 2005 and a Masters of Science in Information and Telecommunications Systems (MSITS, concentration and certificate in competitive intelligence) from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2007.  David also holds a Certified Associate Project Manager certificate from the Project Management Institute.  David is considering the pursuit of a JD and/or PhD. 

Professional Background
In the late 1990s, David was vice president and executive trainer of an insurance marketing agency in Towson, Maryland.  Since that time, David has worked at Johns Hopkins University in several departments.  Currently, David is the Senior Business Service Analyst for Johns Hopkins University Information Technology (Telecommunications).  In his position, David serves as a liaison between Telecommunications and other major institutional stakeholders, oversees University and Hospital Telecommunications billing, prepares capital and operating budgets, creates and provides software training programs, and manages projects on an ad hoc basis.

David has also served as the corporate sponsor for a graduate capstone class offered by the Johns Hopkins University School of Professional Studies in Business and Education.  While completing his MBA, David served as the project leader for his capstone team, which reviewed the strategic plan of the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations.  While completing his MSITS degree, David served as the project leader for the Proof of Concept team, which performed market analysis and created a market entry strategy for a competitive intelligence firm.

David lives with his wife in Fells Point (Baltimore), Maryland.
